Dearest Caroline,

It looks as though you'll be making your arrival today and we couldn't be more excited! It's hard to believe that this day is finally here. February 11, 2013, the day we found out we would become parents, seems like such a long time ago.

For months, we've been preparing your nursery and getting ready for your debut. Over and over again we've imagined what it will be like to see you, which parent you will most favor, what kind of personality you'll have and what our first moments of "meeting" each other will be like.

It's hard to believe that all of our daydreaming is about to become our reality.

We want you to know that we love you so very much. You were deeply wanted, Caroline. You were created from the love and commitment that we have for each other and this marriage. Baby girl, you are the sweetest gift we've ever received and the ultimate blessing from God.

It is you, darling daughter, who has made us parents and we are thrilled to begin this journey with you.
