Hair Curling Tutorial Video Blog!

A lot of y'all have asked how I curl/fix my hair and, on a whim yesterday, decided to make a video blog showin' ya! The style is inspired by Erin Andrews' hair; kind of flowy and curvy and full of body : ) It's fairly easy to accomplish, even if you aren't really skilled with a curling iron.

White Dress/ Black Tights

Still working on getting the wedding pics edited for the blog, so I thought I'd do a fun, Friday, fashion-related post to inspire y'all if you're in the stores this weekend.

But first, my new lipstick that I'm currently loving, Lancome Rouge Interdit Lipcolor in Rose. Sort of a reddish, I-just-bit-my-lips color that's bright enough to make an impact but good for even those with fair skin and hair:

One of my hands-down fav looks of the moment is the white dress w/ black tights combo. Doll it up with a cute pair of booties and an edgy, leather moto jacket and you've got yourself quite the sexy garb. In fact, I've personally deemed this the Maneater look because, well, it's hot. Or haute.

Hey girls! So this past Sunday I had the privilege of participating in a photo shoot for Maude Boutique, which featured a handful of Northwest Arkansas bloggers in the latest fall fashions! We had such a fun time getting all dolled up together and posing for pics.

The amazing Kelly Cooper did the group's hair and BOY was it gorge! She is so utterly talented and such a force in the NWA hair industry. She has a blog of her own now, so check it out and see more of her creations there.

Trend Watch Wednesday: {The Bow Blouse}

One of my very favorite blouses for fall/winter is the bow blouse. It's a little bit Mary Tyler Moore, a little bit Holly Golightly and a lot adorable. It's a universally flattering neckline and an uber-feminine way to up the ante of your style this season.

The bow blouse was in bold form at the Milly Fall 2011 RTW show and other designers took note, bringing the trend quickly to main stream.

For we budget conscious fashionistas, stores like ASOS and Piperlime have some great, affordable options that will leave you looking hot and your wallet looking fat.

A few tips for styling a bow blouse:

-This versatile style of top looks great with both trouser style pants and skinny jeans, as well as the Seventies-style flares we're seeing this fall.

-Try pairing it with a structured clutch to keep it from looking too frilly. You want to exude femininity while not looking overly prissy.

-Ivory and black are great, but look for bow blouses in fun colors like bright pink and royal purple. The bolder hues are definitely hot-to-trot this fall.

A Blonde Wedding: {Our Photos - Before the Ceremony}

Hello, lovelies! I'm so thrilled to tell you that our professional wedding photos arrived last night! There were a TON, so I'll be breaking them up throughout the course of the next couple of weeks. All photos were taken by Jeremy Cavness. This batch includes shots of us getting ready and candid shots of our 'First Look'.

We chose to see each other before the ceremony because we wanted a quiet moment to ourselves. It was the most special few minutes of the day and I got teary eyed just looking at the shots last night. I didn't include many pics from the 'First Look', simply because that is a moment we want to keep to ourselves : ) But I did feature a couple below, which were beautiful!
