Shopping with Leslie : )

via Grey Dog FB page

Hey guys and dolls- hope y'all had a great weekend and got some much deserved R-n-R.

Guess what I did this weekend?

I went shopping. Hardcore shopping.

There's nothing that gets my pulse racing faster or my adrenaline pumping quite like walking into multiple stores, only to find out that they're having amazing sales. Frankly chicas, it doesn't get any better than that.

Dee (my bestie and Maid of Honor) and I started out our Saturday at Maude Boutique in Fayetteville. One of my fav local writers for Celebrate Magazine, Jena, was working that day and she helped us find some presh pieces. We racked up on tons of great deals and SUCH cute merch. Among my purchases:

Can't wait to wear this with booties and my leather/tweed mini.

The sexiest black boots I've seen all winter...these were too cute not to buy.

Red shoes. Enough said ; )

Ballerina-inspired top with lace detailing on the back...love.

Cozy sweater in warm taupe, perfect for these cold winter days!

Burgundy spat boots in suede...so comfy!

Next we moved on to a brand new vintage store, Grey Dog. Owned and operated by the fabulous Molly, this airstream trailor was renovated to house all of the adorable vintage pieces a girl could ever need.

After that, we headed downtown to Riff Raff, Cheap Thrills (an awesome consignment store), Something Urban and Private Gallery. My finds here:

Denim shorts from Cheap Thrills...plan to wear with tights and boots- ala the styling below...

Gold fabulousness from Private Gallery...$4, ladies!

Total spent all day long? Less than $250.

Czech and mark.

I think what I enjoyed most about the day was not the awe inspiring sales, but the hours spent with my best girl friend laughing, talking and solving the problems of the world  : )

Later Saturday night, S treated me to a delish dinner at one of our favorite eateries in Fayetteville, Theo's. Of course we had to take a couple pre-date pics beforehand. Duh.

Wore my cozy sweater from Maude to our date Saturday night...
We love kissy face pics.

All in all, it was a fabtastic weekend.

What did y'all do?

*This week should be a busy one, so it's a good thing we have a special guest stopping by tomorrow for "This is Her Story"...designer of Esque clothing, Leslie Pennel. You DON'T want to miss this!

P.S.- Wore my hair in "Chi" waves today...thoughts??

Be blessed, lovelies-

  7. I love the curls by the chi! I've been recently trying to curl mine, and it's hard to get the hang of. Since I have shorter hair like you, I have found that it's easier to use a mini straightener and they are only 1-2 inches long and makes awesome curls that last all day!
