Confessional Friday: {Link-Up}

Sorry for the tardiness of this thing. It's been quite a morning around Casa de Sisti this morning with barking dogs, a hollering baby and a work assignment that needed to be done, like, yesterday.

Needless to say, TGIF!

1) I confess that having to keep this house clean 24/7 for showing purposes is going to due me in. We're ready to get into a bigger place with a little more room, but having to keep this house "show ready" at all times is going to stress me out to no end. (But, being able to get into some new digs is enough to motivate me to temporarily love cleaning, ha!)

2) I confess that I don't think I've ever been as excited for a concert as I am for the Dave Matthews show in Tulsa on May 21! I bought the perfect breezy little concert dress, we have Nana lined up to keep Caroline and we're already scoping out good places to eat beforehand. Bring on Dave!

3) I confess that Caroline's hair has a life of its own and I freaking love it. Girlfriend has thick, brown hair and it refuses to lay down on her head, ha! I love it, though. It's so reflective of her spunky little personality. I hope it never changes color and that it always reflects her fun little personality.

4) I confess that it's crazy that last year at this time, I was pregnant (and miserably sick), but so hopeful for a healthy baby girl. It seems surreal to have her here in my arms this year to celebrate my first Mother's Day with my sweet little lady. I think we'll have a mommy/daughter day on boat Sunday. And, I guess we'll let daddy come, too! ; )

Short and sweet today, gals. I hope everyone has a great Mother's Day weekend!

  1. Having your house "show ready" is the worst! Totally worth it in the end, but, so tough! I feel for you sweet girl! I love Caroline's hair... it is just adorable! Happy Mother's Day!

  2. Yay coming to Tulsa for Dave! Food recs you didn't ask for: If you're wanting to stick around downtown, check out Ti Amo's Italian (It's in a basement and pretty cool). Sisseros is a new mediterranean place that just went in downtown I've heard is good, but haven't been. Laffa is really good and has medi-eastern food and great drinks. If the weather is nice, you can score a table on the roof of El Guapo Mexican restaurant. Good stuff. Oh and Yokozuna...always a favorite for sushi! :) Great options in downtown Tulsa! If you want any more info or opinions on anywhere, give me a shout! :) And Happy Mothers Day, friend!

  3. Andolini's is a great little pizza place on 15th street downtown, and if you want Mexican, then Los Cabos by Bass Pro in BA is great!

  4. If you want some good southern cooking, I highly recommend Caz's Chowhouse in downtown Tulsa. And some chocolates from Glacier nearby for dessert. :)
