Confessional Friday: Link-Up

Hey girls! It's Friday, time to confess:

1) We finished Catching Fire, the second book of the Hunger Games series on Wednesday. We seriously don't even want to start the third book yet because we don't want the books to end! How crazy is that? Obsessed, that's what we are.

2) I really, REALLY want to get hair extensions for summer. My hair is long already, but I wouldn't mind having mermaid hair for the summer season. Something like this, perhaps?

3) I said I was taking a break from purchasing statement jewelry, but I caved and bought this beauty from Maude. I mean, hello! How presh for summer is she? In case you're wondering, Maude also has it available in black.

4) I'm craving an ice cream sundae so badly tonight and may just drive my happy tail down to Sonic and get one. #GettingBikiniReady

5) We have a winner of the ExVoto Vintage Giveaway and her name is...

6) Jessica! From the lovely blog, The Newly!

Jessica was lucky number 6 of 64 entries! Thanks to all who entered the ExVoto Vintage Giveaway!

Be blessed, lovelies-

  1. I am reading the second book extra slow and I am sure I will read the third book even slower. I don't want it to end. I heard J.K. Rowling is coming out with a new book, so maybe I need to spread these out until that becomes available.

  2. LOVE that necklace!!! the color is fab! love this linkup!!! i look forward to it every friday!

    xo Kelly

  3. I was the exact same way about the 3rd book! I knew starting it meant finishing the series because I would not be able to put it down. Sure enough I finished it in a day :)

    Such a good series!

  4. yes, the hunger games are the best, but I have one question...you kept saying "we" so do you and the hubs read it together? like out loud?

hey, no judging going one here. I actually think thats kinda cute :)

  5. aaaaannnd that above comment from "taylor" is actually from ME (I am now logged in as me, Taylor is my cousin and I login under her sometimes to tweak her blog layout) so just so ya know :)

  6. love your new necklace! and I love rosie's hair- I think my next haircut will be similar to hers.

  7. This is such a beautiful blog and it really inspires me!:) Would you like to follow each other?

  8. Love that necklace in the mint color - perfect for spring. I think you just might need it in the black and coral too though;)

And, what? I won the giveaway? I never win anything! Emailing you now. So excited!!!

  9. I really want extensions too just for volume! Have you ever heard of the halo extensions? Everyone in my area is getting those kind because it doesnt damage!

  10. I'll be finishing Catching Fire this weekend and like you, I don't want it to end!!! Have you seen the Hunger Games movie yet? SO GOOD!

Happy Friday. Oh, and that necklace ... obsessed.

  11. My sister brought me all three books last weekend. I haven't started yet...but lookin' forward to it. Woot. Have a good weekend and enjoy that sundae. you can work on your bikini bod on Monday!!

  12. I finished all 3 books in four days and the was bummed because I missed my new friends! Thankfully, my SIL turned me on to a new serious and I'm starting it today. "Divergent" by Veronica Roth. Supposed to be as good as Hunger Games...we shall see!

  13. Pleeeeeease don't get extensions :(
They are so damaging, no matter what kind. And they add so much more time and effort to your hair care routine. I highly recommend getting clip in human hair extensions. I use just 2 tracks in my hair every single day and it adds length and fullness. There is no damage and you only wash and restyle them maybe every other week.
    p.s. i'm a hairstylist so trust me ;)

  14. Clip-in-extensions are the best! I have the real hair ones (so you can style them any way you want, wash them, color them, etc.) and I love love love them!!! Sally Beauty sells them (Euronext is the brand I got) and you can always find coupons for their site too. Much cheaper than the real extensions and they last longer too!

What'cha got?
