Down the Rabbit Hole

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone is as excited as I am that it's Thursday, because tonight is Project Runway/wine night at my apartment! One of my good girl friends is coming over to watch Heidi and Tim and all the fashion drama, so it will undoubtedly be a great time.

I hated to miss Trend Watch Wednesday yesterday, but we were filming a set of videos for a new website at work, so your girl was ten kinds of busy!

Bet you can guess by the title what this post is about, huh? I'm impatiently awaiting the release of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland with baited breath. I heart Tim Burton and his genius style of directing.

Even our friends at Sephora are getting pumped for this movie. They are featuring a make-up palette by Urban Decay that is totally inspired by the vivid colors in Alice in Wonderland. I've heard it's sold out right now, but as soon as it's back in stock, I'm buying!

Who can you expect to see in Burton's new flick? Well, for starters, Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter, which is enough reason for me to go see the movie. Anne Hathaway is playing the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter will take on the role of the formidable Queen of Hearts and newcomer Mia Wasikowska will be Alice. I'm also excited about Alan Rickman lending his vocal talents to the Caterpillar and Crispin Glover's interpretation of the Knave of Hearts, (featured below.)

If these photos are a hint of what's to come, this movie will be very, very cool.

Will you be catching Alice in Wonderland in theatres? What character are you most excited to see?

Tomorrow's Forecast
I've been avoiding Valentine's Day posts like the bubonic plague, but since it will be Friday AND since we're celebrating the "Day of Love" here at work, I guess I'll do some sort of pink/red/heart-filled post. Haha, sigh...
