Quote Me

Welcome back from the weekend! I know everyone is just as excited and full of energy as I am after the time change yesterday, (no sarcasm here ; )

Because no one likes a crabby apple, I'll not start the post with griping about how sleepy I am or how I would have liked to punch the lunatic who thought of the idea of "springing forward" one hour, haha. On second thought, yeah, I'm gonna vent about that for just a sec. Thank the Lord for Silver Joe's lattes and Smashbox high def concealer or else I'd be looking a hot mess this morning. Ok, venting complete. Moving on...

On a positive note, it was such a nice, relaxing weekend. I mean that from the bottom of my blonde heart. I got to enjoy my Girls' Night Out on Friday, some window shopping on Saturday and working out hardcore on Sunday. My friend D. has been keeping me SO motivated in the gym, (she is getting in pretty awesome shape herself), and I don't know what I'd do without her!

I also watched two semi-new movies on DVD this weekend; The Box and The September Issue. One was fantastic, (The September Issue), and one was positively the worst movie I've seen in the last decade, (The Box). More on those tomorrow, though.

So since we've established that it is indeed Monday and we could all use a little motivation, here are some uplifting quotes and photos I rounded up this weekend. Random, yes. But I like them and so will you, maybe : ) Enjoy.

So go forth on this glorious Monday and conquer. See you tomorrow!!

Be blessed, lovelies-

XOXO
Leslie

  10. I love it!! I will definitely be passing this one along.

And who was the genius who thought we should spring forward on a Saturday night? Some of us have to get up and go to church on Sunday!! Let's spring forward Friday night and give us two days before we have to function on a Monday morning ...

  19. I agree about the spring forward stuff.. I had a zillion things to do this weekend and was like "really? REALLY? we have to this now?!" haha.. But I love the longer days, so I guess it's worth it.. Great quotes, girlie! I esp love Conans. And I've wanted to see the September Issue. I dont even know what The Box is, but am looking forward to hearing about it's suckiness b/c I obviously trust your judgment and do not plan to watch it.
