A Toast to America

Happy Independence Day to all my friends here in the U.S. of A!

I feel so blessed to live in this incredible country. I’m grateful for the freedoms we’ve been given and very appreciative for the brave men and women who have dedicated their lives to service through the armed forces.

I’m grateful for:

-Living in a country where I can vote.

-Living in a country where I’m allowed to write a silly, little blog about fashion and hair.

-Living in a country where I can worship freely.

-Living in a country where I was able to pursue career of my choosing.

-Living in a country where I could get an education.

-Living in a country where I can voice my opinions.

-Living in a country that celebrates and cultivates diversity.

-Living in a country whose leaders and military dedicate their lives so that mine can be better.

-Living in a country where I can go to bed at night with the peace of knowing that our nation is safe.

So thank you to our military, our political leaders, our President and for the unsung heroes of which we may never know. I appreciate what you’ve done and will do for us each and every day.

Happy Fourth, friends.

Be blessed, lovelies-
