Thank Day

via Confetti and Cocktails

I love the idea of starting our week off with telling a few of the things that we're thankful for this week. It's easy to get bogged down with ickiness on Mondays. However, I really think that when I try to concentrate on being grateful for the little things, Monday turns into just another day I'm glad to have been given.

Here are a few of the things that I'm grateful for on this first weekday:

Stephen's Flight Arrived to NY Safely:

The hubs is in New York for work this week and I always get so nervous when either of us has to fly. His flight got there safe and sound and he's due back here Wednesday.

My Mom:

She came up to NWA for a few days to hang out and spend some quality mom/daughter time together while Stephen is away. I'm so happy : )

Sunshine:

It was a dreary weekend here, but this morning, the clouds parted and the sun started to shine. The weather also cooled off and it feels downright wintery out there.

New Highlights:

My stylist gave me the best set of highlights I believe I've ever had on Saturday. When the going gets tough, the blonde get blonder.

Blueberry Crumb Cake:

I use The Pioneer Woman's recipe and it never lets me down. I think mom and I ate half of that darn cake last night...so yum.

New Friends:

I made a new blogger friend last week who I think may be my long lost twin sister : ) You know who you are!

So tell me, what are you thankful for on this beautiful Monday?

Be blessed, lovelies-
