Honeymoon Clothes (and some other stuff)

Hey y'all! I'm getting a super late start on blogging today, but better late than never, right? Haha!

Anywho, I've been scouring the internet lately in search of cute outfits to take on our honeymoon. We'll be going to Charleston the day after our wedding for a week on the gorgeous SC coast. Since it will be late September, it will probably still be pretty warm, so cute, breathable dresses are in order!

I found several online from Piperlime last night that I love!

Tinley Road Pleated Sash Dress, Nanette Lepore Latin Lover Dress

Tibi Strapless Dress, Lilly Pulitzer Eve Stripe Dress

Marc by Marc Jacobs Schooner Dress

I'll keep you posted if I buy any of the above (or anything else!)

So question, have any of you used Moroccan Oil? I have thick hair and it's getting really long, so I'm needing some kind of smoothing serum to help me tame my wild strands : )

Lastly, I got a couple of emails regarding items from yesterday's post. The pink cardigan came from Ann Taylor Loft and it was $20 on sale! The hat I was wearing was purchased from Lids and it is a Chicago Cubs cap in distressed navy.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Be blessed, lovelies-

  5. Pretty dresses! I love the white one, so cute! And I have heard really great things about Moroccan Oil from a couple of stylists but haven't tried it, so if you do be sure to share your thoughts on it! Hope you have a fabulous week!

  6. Moroccan oil has completely turned my hair from ordinary to movie star locks! It make me hair so soft and smooth!!

Such an amazing beauty secret! I have very long, straight, color-treated hair and I highly recommend it :)

  7. I don't use Moroccan Oil but I love Biosilk's Silk Therapy. LOVE that stuff...plus you can use it on your skin too.

  8. I have and still do use the Moroccan Oil and it is the best! I don't have thick hair but instead my ends get really frizzy because they start to break off easily. I put a teeny bit on when wet and then I learned the best trick is to put a teeny bit more on after its dry. It works wonders...so much so that I don't even have to flat iron my hair when I do that!

  9. charleston is amazing! you guys will adore it! As for Moroccan Oil, I almost wept when I saw how much it cost, but after hearing rave review after rave review, I took the plunge, it is the most amazing hair product ever. I don't have to use anything else and have stopped using my chi altogether. It lasts a long time and in the case of my hair, is a miracle elixir. So yes, I would suggest buying it :)

  15. I love Morocann Oil - I have long hair, but it's thinner so I have lots of fly-aways and I use the light version of the Oil - it's really really great, and smells amazing! I highly recommend it, I want to try the shampoo/conditioner next!

  16. I agree with everyone who's said this - morocann oil is a great product. I've tried other products with aragon oil but nothing has been as good as the morocann oil! Also, cute dresses! If you want to check a couple of other sites, I've seen a lot of cute dresses on asos.com and madewell lately!

  20. I have thick naturally curly hair and would die w/o Moroccan Oil,my hair would be frizzy...Buut I do not use the name brand Moroccan Oil(I used to) but have since found that Argan Oil works just as well (bottle says comes from Argan moroccan trees) and is a fraction of the price...I buy it at Sallys beauty supply store.

  25. I have and still use Moroccan Oil ( I am a freak about my hair) but I have to be really honest with you and say you can pick something up just the same at ulta that is just as good for half the price. I PROMISE!

  26. Charleston was HOT in early October! Those dresses will be perfect :)

  27. I have wondered about the oil too. I saw Josie Maran on QVC and HSN and I have wanted to try it too, especially on my skin. (I just turned 40 and I am behind on damage control!

  28. I love, love, love Moroccan oil! They have a shampoo & conditioner too. I have yet to try that, but the oil is outstanding! It smells great too! I have very long, very thick CURLY hair and it is the only thing that tames it! Warning: Do NOT take it flying with you! I did and mine busted everywhere! Thankfully it was in a sealed plastic bag, but for future reference.

    Hope that helps!

  29. I just bought the Moroccan oil last weekend and have been loving it. My hair is baby fine, so I was a bit scared to be putting oil on it (seemed counterproductive....) - but it worked great. My hair actually looks thicker with it in - so I am officially hooked on this stuff. I'm wondering if you could use it as a skin moisturizer......?

I have also heard amazing things about her foundation.... that is probably next on my list of things to try.

  30. I forgot to mention I loved the dresses too. I must be under a rock - I haven't been to piperlime.com since they were selling shoes only. Geez - things change quickly. Thanks for the tip.

  31. Hi. I'm a stylist in LA and I'm totally obsessed with your blog. I'd love if you visited my new blog for multiple posts a day on all things celebrity fashion. I just moved to California after graduating back in south with a degree in visual merchandiser and in order to get my heel in the door, I've started a celebrity fashion blog. Check out what Brad, Rachel Zoe's former associate shared with me and check out my latest trend report. I'd love the support. I'm following you, I hope you'll do the same. Thanks so much.

  32. I was really skeptical about using Moroccan Oil, but it truly is amazing. I have long blonde hair which I highlight every 6-8 weeks and it does amazing things for my hair. I using sparingly and when my hair really needs a pick me up. I can always tell the difference between the softness and brightness of my hair when I do and don't use it!! Go for it!
