Pumpkin Palooza

It is September and I am officially in Fall mode now! Let the college football and pecan toasted goodness commence!

Guess what I got last night for $12.99? A straw pumpkin, like the one I loved from Pottery Barn. But instead of spending oodles of money, I got this one very inexpensively at Target. Our friends at Target never let us down in the home decor department!

You know what I think I love most about it? It's not orange or really Halloween-y, so I can use it to my heart's content all throughout this Fall and Winter.

Guess what else? I got these awesome amber colored goblets ($3.99 each) and this beautiful Fall wreath for only $29 (also both from Target.) I was so happy about my little decorating success that I just had to share some pics with all of you!

AND guess what else?? Starbucks brought back my all-time favorite drink today, cuz it's September and all. The Pumpkin Spice Latte. Girls, if you like sweet treats, you MUST, I repeat must, try this. I even splurged and ordered mine with whipped cream...cuz you know, sometimes a girl's just gotta have her trans-fats : )

I thought since we're all getting to know each other, I'd share some pics of my lil' apartment with you.

I got this bed this past Spring and I love it. I always feel a little bit like a princess in it. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the canopy thingy.

The main painting in my hallway was done by a very talented friend of mine, Aimee Wynn. It's definitely the featured piece in my apartment and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. You can visit her store here and get yourself your own Wynn Original!

This built-in came standard in my apartment and I love it. It's been so nice for displaying all my little knick-knacks.

My big bathroom and garden tub are my oasis. I can't tell you how many times I've come home from work and enjoyed a soak in this tub. It takes forever to fill up though, so I have to be really patient when filling it.

And last but not least is the kitchen, one of my favorite places to spend time. I just baked a bunch of truffle brownies last night and loved smelling the yummy baking smell coming from the oven. Reminds me of being home and my mom baking when I was younger. Ahhhh nostalgia....

So that's it in a nutshell. I think the builder did a pretty good job for an 850 square foot apartment.

  3. I'm jealous of that beautiful tub!! I would LOVE to soak in that. If you like the Pumpkin Spice Latte you should also try the Caramel Apple Cider ... it's not a coffee drink, so if you're looking for your caffeine fix (as I often am) it's not something to get in the morning - definitely a afternoon/night drink!!
